In our noble parlours, enjoy the cosmopolitan ambience free from hype. The front of the house team and those working behind the scenes are dedicated to making sure that you enjoy every moment. Their goal: your enthusiasm. As you relax, our certified sommelier Robin Schultz will recommend the right wine to accompany the delicious cuisine prepared by chef Paul Markovics. Everything is served with an extra portion of joie de vivre.

Our hero in the kitchen: Paul

A native of Lower Austria with two decades of Arlberg experience, Paul has been head chef at Gletscherblick since 2016. Ambitious, passionate about detail and blessed with endless curiosity, his culinary signature represents the Gletscherblick with style and taste.


Impossible to pin down Paul Markovics' kitchen style.
The only constant: Each dish contains fresh herbs and sour accents from citrus aromas and light fruit vinegars. In this way he gives even classics of Tyrolean cuisine a freshness kick. He likes to use regional products such as the Haiminger carrot or fish from Vorarlberg. House guests enjoy the result as part of the Gletscherblick luxury board  and guests from outside
in the Alpin Gourmet Stube. Gault Millau was also thrilled 
and awarded Paul 3 toques for 2024.

Our house bar acts as the communicative centre between the Alpin Gourmet Stube parlour and the parlours for our houseguests. This is the ideal place to lean against our noble counter and sip a digestif or a sparkling cocktail... or two.

A virtuoso spirit

The Gletscherblick’s homemade Hay Gin captures the aroma of herbs and grasses that thrive on the mountain meadows of the Arlberg. This highly digestible tipple, the pride and joy of our head boss Christian, is exclusively available at our bar.
