In our noble parlours, enjoy the cosmopolitan ambience free from hype. The front of the house team and those working behind the scenes are dedicated to making sure that you enjoy every moment. Their goal: your enthusiasm. As you relax, our certified sommelier Manuela Zangerl will recommend the right wine to accompany the delicious cuisine prepared by chef Paul Markovics. Our hero in the kitchen: Paul

A native of Lower Austria with two decades of Arlberg experience, Paul has been head chef at Gletscherblick since 2016. Ambitious, passionate about detail and blessed with endless curiosity, his culinary signature represents the Gletscherblick with style and taste.

His go-to spice is fantasy

It's impossible to assign Paul Markovics a particular style. His broad repertoire includes traditional Tyrolean dishes and Austrian classics as well as Mediterranean and Far-Eastern-inspired recipes. All dishes feature fresh herbs and a fine citrus aroma. The results are convincing: houseguests in the ALPIN GOURMET STUBE savour every moment as part of our renowned GOURMET BOARD. Representatives from Gault&Millau were equally convinced and awarded Paul 2 toques for the year 2019.

The Gletscherblick’s homemade Hay Gin captures the aroma of herbs and grasses that thrive on the mountain meadows of the Arlberg. This highly digestible tipple, the pride and joy of our head boss Christian, is exclusively available at our bar.
