In October 2025, the fourth generation was born. Since then, even more life, joy and inspiration have flowed through our house! A unique blend of proven tradition and a fresh outlook on the future.
The doers
Sandra & Christian
Always in a good mood, always on the ball. Their guest's contentment is their top priority. Sandra’s parents set an example for her from an early age, which Sandra later perfected. As a passionate wish-fulfiller, she works on the famous 100% in front of and behind the scenes.
Christian proves himself to be the family's calming influence, wine connoisseur, and creative visionary, who is constantly coming up with new ideas.

The future
Johanna & Sophia with Felix
Johanna is our organisational wizard. Holding a bachelor's degree in business management in tourism, this eager globetrotter has gathered valuable experience both at home and abroad. She thus is knocking off the Gletscherblick’s reception agenda easily.
Sophia, mother of the youngest generation, is a trained pâtissière with the whole world at her feet. And yet she prefers to look after guests at home in St. Jakob am Arlberg.
The parents of success
Paula & Robert
They married in 1966 and their first "baby" was born: the Pension Gletscherblick.
Both as bosses and later in the second row, they always looked after the well-being of the guests and the hotel. Until his death in 2023, Robert was the driving force for expansion at the Gletscherblick and at the same time the haven of peace and safe anchor for the whole family.

One big family
But it's not just us. Our team is also part of the big Gletscherblick family! Sommelier Robin Schultz and his service team effortlessly keep track of all our guests' wishes, while head chef Paul Markovics and his team put their heart and soul into conjuring up sophisticated dishes.
